Wētā Workshop entrusted us with the audio production, casting, recording, sound design, and audio post-production for two of their immersive exhibits at the NZ Liberation Museum in Le Quesnoy, France. Which saw us collaborating with the team from Wētā Workshop, including senior creative director Andrew Thomas, writer Dave Armstrong and composer Rhian Sheehan.
Immersing ourselves in the essence of rural life, we were tasked by Harvey Cameron Advertising to craft the Norwood Agriculture audio signature. Inspired by Norwood’s tagline, “keeping farmers moving,” we incorporated a dynamic element—making the tractor move within the stereo image. This, alongside foley of tires on gravel roads, farm ambience, and a rhythmic interplay of acoustic guitar and synth bass harmonics, culminated in a bespoke audio identity that not only reflects Norwood’s ethos but also embodies Norwood’s support for farmers who use their services.
Collaborating with the team at Howler, we contributed sound design, mixing, and mastering services for their latest showreel. Crafting the sound design was an enjoyable process as we brought their brief to life, followed by sound edit, mix and master on the final project audio.
This is a promotional video for Re-Storyz that was recorded, produced and edited by Keely at Musings Media. The video showcases the latest Sculptbox workshop kit called ‘The Recycled Glass Box. The video briefly discusses the process of this workshop, plus the brand and environmental message. We were asked to produce all music and create the sound design elements to add to the story being told. We edited all the dialog from the initial record to insure a clear message to the target audience. Finally we carried out all the audio post production tasks to take the audio to completion (edit, mix and master) before final post production by Musing Media. Such a great project to be part of!
The Elephant In The Bedroom is a five episode podcast series about the intersection of sex, love & race. The podcast was recorded, edited, mixed and mastered at our studio. We were able to collaborate with the creative team on this project to enhance the narrative of each episode through custom sound design, foley and transitional music elements.
We had the absolute pleasure of creating a bespoke piece of music for Coco’s Cantina Restaurant. The creative brief behind the composition was to bring hip hop and latin melodic and harmonic elements to an upbeat groove. Alongside all the writing and production, we also mixed and mastered the composition.
With ongoing covid restrictions and theatres being closed, Silo Theatre wanted to be able to produce a piece of work that could be accessible for everyone. MAURI TAU is a unique storytelling experience that weaves together the magic of theatre, your whakapapa to the stars and nature. The guided experience immerses you – the listener, in a playful and reflective Sound Play alongside Te Kāhui o Matariki (the star cluster of Matariki). We had the privilege of recording all voice over, implementing sound design for the native birds and sounds of Aotearoa, as well as traditional elements to help portray space and the stars. Once this was completed we did all the audio post production including edit, mix and master.
This short documentary film was produced by Mark Russell at Renegade Peach Project for Troy Kingi. The film follows Troy’s journey about creating his fourth studio album release ‘The Ghost Of Freddie Cesar’ We had the privilege of mixing in sound design elements to assist the story and completing all audio post production including edit, mix and master.
As part of Mitre 10’s ‘Easy As Guides’ we worked with the producers and video production team from Augusto Limited on the ‘How To Choose & Use a Drop-Saw’ tutorial video. We had the privilege of implementing sound design elements and also providing audio post production services including edit, mix and master.
